Greater Vernon Community Expo Postponed

March 12, 2020

VERNON – The second annual Community Expo scheduled for Saturday, March 14 has been postponed to a future date.

The difficult decision to hold off on Expo is a result of the ongoing Covid-19 concerns provincially, nationally and globally.

“We were extremely excited to host Community Expo as it’s a great showcase of local businesses, non-profits and government agencies. However, our roots in Vernon are deep and we put community first. We take the concerns about health and safety seriously,” said Krystin Kempton, Chamber president.

“We want to thank our vendors for their understanding during this challenging process, and we also want to thank the City of Vernon and Event Installation Services for their advice and support.”

Within the next few weeks, Chamber officials will meet to determine a date for Community Expo.
