QUALICUM BEACH – Help us celebrate our community and take a moment to recognize those who have made a difference through their volunteerism, leadership, or service excellence by nominating them for a Community Award!
The Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce is proud to sponsor and host these awards annually to honour excellence in business and community service. A business or a person does not need to be a member of the Chamber of Commerce to be nominated.
“We welcome the best of all aspects of life in Qualicum Beach and celebrate their achievements at this event,” said Anne Dodson, Chamber President/CEO.
Recipients at the 2017 Qualicum Beach Chamber Community Awards.
The 2017 Community Awards will take place at the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre at 747 Jones Street on Wednesday, February 21, 2018. The cocktail reception begins at 5:30 and will be followed by a gourmet dinner and the awards presentations.

- Business of the Year – sponsored by the Career Centre
- Volunteer of the Year – sponsored by Society of Organized Services
- Newsmaker of the Year – sponsored by Parksville Qualicum Beach News
- Young Entrepreneur of the Year – sponsored by Coastal Community Credit Union

To submit a nomination, pick up a nomination form from the Qualicum Beach Chamber of Commerce at 2711 Island Highway West or at any of the sponsoring locations. Nomination forms can also be downloaded from the Chamber website or completed online. For more information, call the chamber at 250-752-0960.
Nomination forms must be returned to the Chamber no later than Friday, January 26, 2018.
