SNUNEYMUXW TERRITORY – The most powerful Aboriginal-driven business development event in Canada is coming to Vancouver Island for the first time.

From February 1st to 3rd ABM Vancouver Island 2016 will take place at the Vancouver Island Conference Centre (VICC).

“ABM Vancouver Island allows us to make a real impact by creating real deals, “ says Ken Watts, Vice President, Nuu-chah-nulth Tribal Council. “I urge you to review the opportunities available for exploration at the event. We hope to see you all there to show what a powerful economic force the region’s First Nations are.”

The ABM network currently includes one third of Aboriginal communities in Canada and more than 500 innovative companies. In 2016, the network is expected to double in size. In 2015, 92% of ABM delegates developed key contacts anticipating post-event deals. 1 in 5 signed deals on the trade show floor. ABM levels the playing field. The 2.5-day intensive experience eliminates geographic barriers, condenses time requirements and reduces costs.

ABM Vancouver Island will be held in partnership with the Snuneymuxw First Nation, the Nuu-chah- nulth Tribal Council, Nuu-chah-nulth Economic Development Corporation, and the Vancouver Island Economic Alliance. Vancouver Island Conference Centre is the host venue. VICC is an award-winning conference centre just steps away from Nanaimo Harbour.
